Lately when I look at natural hair, it becomes more and more beautiful to me. The texture, strength and beauty of it is calling me. lol... I can't help but to look in the mirror at my relaxed hair and want more thickness. To want a better, stronger texture (that's my natural hair). Even though it's mid back length now, I find myself yearning for thicker Natural hair. The only thing that has kept me from going natural is not knowing how I would wear my hair. How I would style it and keep it in the hairstyles I love. Each day the wanting of natural hair is calling me more and more. Right now I'm on a six or seven month stretch. Who knows, maybe I'll keep on going. I just don't know. It's such a tug of war with me right now. To be continued for sure. : )

ELF has a sale this month that shouldn't be missed. They're offering a free pallet with your order of $10.00 or more. They're also offering other specials when you order certain products.Check out the sales for the Silver and the 24K pallets as well.
This product truly surprised me. I used it to flat iron my roots and my hair turned out very straight with lots of shine. On the bottle it says: Smoothes, conditions and adds shine. Reduces drying time. They also guarantee the product. I happen to try it when I renewed my sally card, I'm so happy I tried it.
This product is truly fantastic. I use it during my roller sets. It glides on like silk, and my ends are just the way I like it. The hair feels stronger. This is a product to try if your hair is damaged or feels brittle.
It's a leave-in treatment for dry or damaged hair. It's suppose to restore damage caused by styling, heat, chemical service, etc... Avon made a great product when they created this.

Milani's Blue My Mind Eyeshadow is so pretty. I had to get this color. It looks dark but it's very vibrant. It's a must have for those beautiful exotic looks. The next buy will be the Teal The Truth. I was already crazy about Milani, but they have really done a good job with their new additions. Check out their baked blushes, that's another must have.

My hair was shedding and breaking, I thought I was going to have a horrible set back, then I used this conditioner and I have to say I'm crazy about it. In just one use, the shedding stopped and my hair felt strong. It had slip. I was surprised by this product. I heard about it from a dominican hair group and thought it was worth a try. This is what it says on the jar:
Nutritive Hair Treatment Bambu contains Bamboo Extract, a natural product to regenerate and nourish the hair and silicones to smooth and give shine. Prevents hair breakage and split ends. Vitamins A, E,F H (Biotin), H, Pro-Vitamina B5 (Panthenol) H8 (Inositol) and Horse Chestnut Extract improve the health and beauty of the hair, helping it to grow longer.

After relaxing my new growth every four to five months, I have to make sure those cuticles are closed or damage begins. Joico K-Pak Cuticle Sealer not only closes the cuticles, but also makes the hair strong and soft. It actually feels healthy. I use this product after every relaxer treatment.

I made it to mid back length. I can't believe it. I would have never thought it was possible. My next goal is waist length. I would love to see if I can reach that length. Everyone has a terminal length and it's going to be interesting to find out what mine is. Roller sets are my best friend (I do flat iron my roots). I use absorbing oils such as jojoba oil and coconut oil which are my favorites. I use Shea Butter Repair Creme for my roller sets (excellent for my ends), no dry brittle ends, so I'm retaining length. I shampoo and condition once a week (roots to ends),but I shampoo and condition my ends every evening. Yes, I know I do way more than a lot of people do, but it works for me.

I decided to start taking Hair, Skin and Nails Vitamins because my nails have been brittle and breaking. It doesn't hurt that it's good for the hair and skin also. I'm going to take them for 1 month and see if there is a difference. I plan to do a follow up review. So far I like how the shampoo detangles on contact and gives lot's of body. It's suppose to stimulate the hair follicles and thicken up the hair. The conditioner feels so silky to the touch, can't go wrong there. It also makes the hair feel stronger.
Here's what's listed on the Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins:
Vitamin A 10,000 IU
Vitamin C 120 mg
Vitamin D 30 IU
Vitamin E 30 IU
Vitamin B1 10 mg
Vitamin B2 10 mg
Niacin 50 mg
Vitamin B6 10 mg
Folic Acid 400 mcg
Vitamin B12 16 mcg
Biotin 30 mg
Pantothenic Acid 30 mg
Calcium 600 mg
Iron 6 mg
Iodine 225 mcg
Magnesium 200 mg
Zinc 15 mg
selenium 25 mcg
manganese 10 mg
Phosphorous 300 mg
I will be ordering MSM next month. MSM is not only good for your hair but for all your body organs. It produces what the body lacks, and that's a type of sulfur. It's also good for you to take in the morning if you have allergies.

This product is perfect for damaged, dry, weak, brittle hair. After using it, your guaranteed to have hair that feels like silk. I got a chance to try it and I was very satisfied that this product could give my hair what it needs. This is truly a product you can't skip out on.

The GHD flat iron is truly the best flat iron I have ever tried. After using the FHI, Sedu, CHI, etc..... this flat iron is the best. The second best is the FHI. It's summer, it's hot and my hair is staying straight. I only have to do one pass to get a good press. I only use it on my roots, but my roots get very straight with the one pass. I love the pink color and the superior job it does. Worth every penny. It also keeps my roots under control between relaxers.

This shampoo is excellent on my hair. I've been looking for a good shampoo for a very long time. It leaves my hair silky, soft and strong. It also makes my hair feel like it's just been conditioned. It's a part of my hair regimen now. It's a very nice size, and last a long time.

I've been using this leave in with a few added ingredients that I picked up from Kimmeytube on youtube. The combination has been saving my hair. No split ends, no breakage, no weak hair and no hair on the floor. My goal is to reach waist length hair and I believe I will reach that goal because my ph is balanced using it. I've been using this with the added ingredients.
Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Juice (2 tablespoons)
Kinky Curly Knot Today (2 tablespoons)
Castor Oil (2 teaspoons)
Jojoba Oil (2 teaspoons)
Mix with a plastic spoon
It equals about 4 oz.
The ph is 4.0. Perfect for our hair.
Can be used on wet or dry hair. Most use it on wet hair. I do both.
Revlons Grow Luscious Mascara is a very good mascara. I was shocked at my results. My lashes are already long but this mascara really brought out the length. It's suppose to help the lashes get thicker and longer the more you use it. Maybelline Collosal was my favorite, but this mascara is the new number one in my stash. Don't sleep on this mascara. No clumps. It's well worth the purchase,

Most of Day 20 was good then I was tempted with some nuts. I got so sick I didn't think I could recover, so I added an additional three days. All went well. Now I plan to do the Ease out to end my detox. I plan to eat more healthy and exercise at least no less than three to four days a week. This has truly been a journey and I can't believe I did the cleanse for 23 days. From now on my cleanses will be no more than the required 10 days. It's excellent for the body, cleaning out all the toxins and balancing it out. Two to three times a year is good.

The blush is so beautiful on. It gives a nice rich color. I think the color I have is Merry Berry. It's my favorite of all my blushes. The concealer (in medium) gives a very nice coverage. Both of these items are very reasonably priced, only $3.00 each. They sale out fast.
You know how I love my dresses. Yes I'm more of a dress lady. The sale happening at Jcpenny right now is unbelieveable.
I can't believe I made it to Day 19. I feel great and it's gotten a lot easier to do this cleanse. No pain anywhere, no intestinal problems, no swelling. I'm so proud of myself for making it this far. I'm not finished yet though. I've also lost 15 pounds. I think that doing a detox is very important. After 19 days I shouldn't have to still (Lets just say ) use the bathroom, yet I do and that lets you know it's very possible to get very ill from eatting the wrong foods and that food does sit in the intestines for a long time. Years or months even. Thats a scary thought. Well on to Day 20.

The detox has gotten easier. The last time I did this cleanse I had to stop on day 16 but not this time. I plan to continue. I feel great. I happened to weigh myself this morning and I lost 14 pounds in 16 days. I appreciate the other health problems I haven't been having since doing the detox. I also noticed that my skin looks very clear. Another thing, I don't know if it's because I'm getting slimmer or what, but my hair looks longer. I used to have lines on my nails (I think due to my health), they seem to be fading away. I'm looking into more vegetarian cooking for a healthier lifestyle after this cleanse.

These rollers are suppose to give lot's of body and bounce to your hair. They're super soft and bendy. No roller marks or dents when using them. Easy to sleep with them on your hair if you use them over night. If you need a quick set, these are good to use. Gives beautiful curls on dry hair also. Roller sets are much healthier than using heat or blow dryers. It's the best way to recover from damage over time. No heat on the ends could help with less trims.

Today is Day 13 and I have to say it's been tough. Drinking my drinks and doing my flush hasn't been hard, it's been wanting to eat regular food again. I notice that when I drink my drinks that I'm not hungry. Maybe I'm spacing them to far apart. I also try to drink lots of water (one thing I always had a problem with) My body feels lighter and I have energy. My feet have gone down a lot. I actually have a waist again. lol... That alone makes it worth it. My face has gone down a lot. I've lost 12 pounds so far. I'm still deciding if I want to go 20 days or 40. 40 being my limit and a first for me. I'll decide when I get to day 20. Well..... Until day16.

My family surprised me by getting me the Black Hobo bag as my Mother's Day gift, but I've been eyeing the dress as well. Avon has a fantastic selection of eye shadow, blush and other makeup I've been looking at. The above pallet has some nice colors with a little shimmer and shine. I'll be wanting to get that one next.
I'm doing pretty good on this cleanse so far. I still feel hungry when I smell food. Last time I was on the cleanse I wasn't hungry from Day 11 on. I just realized just how much I focus on food, and I have to say it's way to much. So far I lost 9 pounds and I've been detoxing for 10 days. I'm still going strong. I'll update in three more days.

I've been hungry off and on today. When I drink the lemonade, I'm not hungry but boy when the drink makes it's way into my system and the stomach is empty, Hunger gets me good. I try to drink lots of water after and that helps. I've been having gout around my ankles (that was one of the reasons why I started the Master Cleanse again), but I noticed it's going down now. It's going to be nice seeing my ankles look normal again. I feel a little weakness because I did a lot of running around today and twice I forgot my drink. Well, onto day three. Oh....... almost forgot, that salt water flush is no joke in the morning and the tea is rough at night.

I have started the Master Cleanse today. This is my second time doing the Master cleanse. The first time I did the Master Cleanse for 16 days. This evening I Started off with drinking my Smooth Move Tea. I will be recording each day until the end of the detox. It turns out I really needed this. I've been having a few problems and a cleanse is due.

Yes, it's that time again. I'll be doing the Master Cleanse before this month is over. I really need to detox. I've done to much of something, because my body feels so heavy and it's just time to do spring cleaning. Lol !!! This time I'll have a before and after picture. I look forward to feeling light again. I'll be posting every week to let you know how I'm feeling and what's going on. I hope you'll share this journey with me and stay tuned.
I don't pay the amount of money you see above. That's the average price if you bought everything from amazon. I get the Maple syrup, and sea salt at amazon (it's on sale). Then I get the lemons and cayenne pepper at the 99 cent store. As for the water, I just take my water bottles to the water mart and pay 30 cents a bottle. Yeah, I know how to save money. Lol ..... So until then. I'll keep you updated.

I found that as the weather got colder my hair grew slower, about 1/4 of an inch each month. I've been measuring my hair every month and keeping the information in a diary. Even though I'm retaining length and my hair has been getting longer each month, I would have loved for it to have been 1/2 inch each month. As the weather warms up I plan to compare my hair growth as it gets hotter. It's easy to stay on track if you know if the products your using is helping or harming your hair. Also, a measuring tape comes in handy.
Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a pretty good hair product. At first when I got it I was a little upset because I was used to a light oil. I applied this oil on my scalp and instantly my new growth became soft. I thought it could help my hair to grow, but I knew products don't grow your hair, a product can make your hair so manageable that you retain your length as it's growing out and a product that can do that is well worth buying. Since I do long stretches, I needed a product that could help with controling the new growth. Another thing I noticed about this product is that it causes a tingling on the scalp. I don't know if it's because it's the Rosemary blend. I found myself scratching my scalp often. I decided to do research and found out this happened with a lot of people and that the itchiness does go away. Lately my scalp doesn't itch like it used to, but my hair sure feels good. I might purchase this product again.
