The Benefits Of Mustard Seed Oil
Mustard Oil for Hair Growth
Benefits of Using Mustard Oil for Hair Growth
Mustard seed oil is supposed to stimulate the scalp to promote hair growth. It contains extremely high levels of zinc and selenium. It is understood that if the body has a lack of zinc or selenium, hair loss is more likely.
Mustard seed oil is also rich in beta carotene and is a good source of vitamins and nutrients. This helps in nourishing the scalp. Beta carotene is converted into vitamin A, which helps normal hair growth by protecting hair fibers and promoting a healthy scalp.
Mustard seed oil has a healthy level of Omega-3 fatty acids, which help hair to grow thicker. Mustard seed also has iron, calcium, niacin, manganese and traces of magnesium. These nutrients help the follicles stay healthy.
What Does Mustard Oil Do for Hair Growth?
Mustard Oil Strengthens the Hair - Mustard seeds, which mustard oil comes from, contain calcium, protein, vitamins A and E, alpha omega-3 and alpha omega-6 fatty acids. They also contain antioxidants; these components make mustard oil an effective hair growth agent. The vitamins in mustard oil ensure strong hair and prevent hair from falling out.
It Conditions - Mustard oil contains fatty acids; therefore, it both conditions and makes hair stronger, which leads to healthy hair growth.
Mustard Oil Helps In Hair Growth - Mustard oil encourages the circulation of blood. Mustard oil is a hair stimulant, meaning it causes hair to grow healthier at a faster rate.
Use Mustard Oil to Promote Hair Growth
- Massage mustard oil onto your hair and your scalp three or more times a week
Giovanni Smooth As Silk Conditioner
I hadn't tried this conditioner in a long while. My hair had suddenly started breaking and I couldn't figure out why. Then it came to me that I had been doing to many protein treatments. I did a coconut oil (hot oil) treatment for an 1 hour with a plastic cap on. Then I applied the Giovanni Smooth As Silk conditioner for 40 minutes under the plastic cap. My hair was back to normal and feeling very silky. I'm glad I had this product among my items.

E.L.F's Tone corrector is pretty good. I had a chance to try this product, and was pleasantly surprised. I have circles under my eyes and the green helps with covering them up. I add the green then my foundation and you can't even tell I have circles. The cost is only $3.00. It's sold at Target. I also use it as a finishing powder on my face when I'm done applying my makeup. It's wonderful at soaking up excess oil.
Do you ever feel like you have to choose two concealer colors to match your own skin complexion? I've had to do that over and over again. I'm hoping this time around I've found my match. I noticed that NC45 is a common chosen color. I'm waiting for this color in the mail as I type. I will do an update on it. What is your favorite brand of concealer?

This is the year I'm really working on getting very thick hair. I'm wearing a lot of protective styles, mainly chignon's. I'm stretching my relaxer as long as possible, hopefully 7 to 8 months or more. When I get tired of that, I wear ponytails. I hope to wear my hair down a little more this summer. My first goal was waist length, however, if I can reach that goal with thick hair I would be happy. I'm hoping my hair isn't naturally thinner than I thought. I'll be posting a picture the end of May of this year.
It's time to get down to business. Plan those goals for the year. I plan to exercise more and change my eating habits. Those are things I really have to push myself at, but it will be worth it to just get going. What to eat, what not to eat is the real question. I constantly hear that it's bad to have this or bad to have that. Yet, at the same time, I hear you can't go wrong with vegetables, fruit, beans, rice and most things natural, as well as lot's of water. I'm guilty of not drinking enough water. What will your goals be for the year?
Vera Wangs Truly Pink perfume is one of my favorites. It has such a soft scent that last a long time. I always get compliments on this perfume. It's a bit pricey, but if you catch it on sale it's well worth having. I've had mine since last year the (3.4 oz bottle). If you don't have a collection, this one is a good start.

Redken's All Soft Line
The Redkens All Soft Heavy Cream and All Soft Supple Touch is pretty good. I found them very moisturizing with good penetration into the hair follicles. If the hair is very dry, these products will take care of the problem right away. The Heavy Cream I used as a conditioner, and the Supple Touch I used as a leave in. For me it's best used on wet to damp hair, then I roller set and air dry. I always look for a good deal. These products were worth trying.

I got a chance to try this flat iron. The IPak Argan Infusion 1 1/4 styling iron. It goes up to 450. It has Argan Infused Vapor for heat protective styling. It protects and restores hair from heat damage and promotes healthier looking and shinier hair. It also gives frizz free results. The ceramic plates are infused with argan oil.
I used this flat iron on a 375 setting. It gets the hair super straight and leaves the hair very soft. This is pretty good since I'm five months post right now. The only con I have regarding this iron is that it doesn't get the edges good enough for me. I used my mini Babyliss flat iron to get that job done which left a nice over all look. The flat iron comes with a bottle of Ion Repair Solution, two refill tanks and a instruction paper. It was on sale at Sally's for 69.00, normally cost 79.99 or 71.99 with membership.
